Check the scope of the material claim
Record the stated fibre percentages, selected colour and source specification. Organic cotton, recycled polyester and a blend containing either material describe different things. A brand name or a green-looking photograph does not verify the garment’s composition.
If your procurement policy requires certification, ask for evidence that applies to the actual product and claim. Do not carry a claim from one product, colour or supplier range onto another without checking its scope.
Keep practical uniform requirements in view
Compare fit, care requirements, weight and decoration suitability alongside composition. A material-led uniform still needs an appropriate size mix and enough garment depth for the roles involved. Check availability before specifying an exact style for a future reorder.
